“We are pleased that Zane’s father, Kye Gbangbola, is well enough to take part in the funeral service of his son.
“As a close-knit church family we are still deeply saddened by Zane’s death and have set up the Zane Gbangbola Fund to support Kye and Nicole. We are thrilled by the generous response made by many people, both near and far, who wish to actively support Kye and Nicole at this time.
“It is acknowledged that the sudden death of a young fit boy and serious injury to a man in good health is worthy of the most careful and exhaustive investigation, but it was both hoped and expected that the agencies charged with carrying out this complex enquiry would do so with expediency, integrity and with due regard to the feelings of those most closely affected by this tragic event.
"It is a matter of concern that Kye and Nicole’s grief is being compounded by the fact that the circumstances and the cause of Zane’s death have still not been disclosed to them.
“It is hoped that Zane’s funeral will bring some comfort to Kye and Nicole, as they are reminded of God’s enduring and eternal love and care, both for Zane and his parents.”

A truly beautiful and emotional service for Zane. It was a celebration of his life, the happiness he bought to those around him and a reflection on a truly wonderful little boy, a credit to Nicole and Kye who had more love for him than words could ever express. These past 10 weeks they have suffered enough, lessen their pain and reveal the truth about Zane. Rest in peace little Zane.

A large number of individuals have been asking a simple question over these last few days since Zane was laid to rest. It is this. What caused a healthy 7 year old to lose his life, and a healthy man to be taken very ill and still not be able to walk 10 weeks later? At the funeral we were graced by the presence of the Fire and Rescue crew who attended the incident and monitored the air in the house. They confirmed pockets of Hydrogen Cyanide were present, and pulled no punches about this, and spoke of a 'cover up' happening.
In the light of all this media attention, still Surrey Police are refusing to comment. Why? Surely the Police are monitoring this site, as well as www.truthaboutzane.com but still remain tightlipped. Why? On whose behalf and authority are the Police working? In the early and erroneous press releases the Police talked of 'not speculating' but then went on to put out the Carbon Moonoxide story, which they knew was never the cause of this tragic incident. If someone else had mentioned this, it would have been seen as speculation. For the Police to deliberately put it out there is not speculation but misrepresentation.
In the light of all this attention, Is it not time for Surrey Police to step up to the plate and issue a statement that sets out the facts, and how they are progressing there enquiries? At the moment your silence is deafening.
Jo Kemp 8:04 AM on 23/4/2014
It is the 21st Century, how can you possibly not be able to confirm the cause of death to a 7 year old child or give reasons for his father's damage to his nervous system? How is this possible? How are you allowing parents to bury their child with no knowledge as to how or why? How is this humanly possible in the world we live in with our gadgets and gizmos and technology? Why? Why? Why? RIP ZANE x

The truth needs to come out. The lack of information from Surrey Police can only be attributed to incompetence or corruption or both.

I can only echo the sentiments that others have already expressed here. Indeed it was a truly beautiful ceremony and a fitting tribute to a wonderful boy, especially the speech from his very brave father. Zane will never be forgotten by those who have had the pleasure to meet him. He had a lust for life and a generosity of spirit that could only be found in someone who has been raised in such a loving, supportive family. Kye and Nicole are such fine people who have always lived by example and brought nothing but happiness into peoples' lives with their caring and positive attitudes to society and the World at large. They've shown us all the way and brought Zane up to do the same. They deserve nothing but honesty and certainly do not deserve the wall of silence and misinformation that has surrounded some of the media coverage of events. To be treated as they have been by those in authority is unjust and insensitive. Clearly I'm not alone in demanding that the truth be made known for all to see! Kye and Nicole deserve a full public explanation so that they can grieve and come to terms as best they can with their loss. Rest in peace beautiful Zane. Kye and Nicole, my family's thoughts and love are with you always. X www.truthaboutzane.com

What a beautiful yet emotional service, personalised to reflect Zane's vibrant personality and a lovely celebration of his life. It's been a privilege knowing Zane and we as a family are left with many very fond memories. His parents Kye and Nicole deserve to know the truth about the cause of death of their son. Rest in peace little Zane.

Such a beautiful service in memory of such an extraordinary boy. It was a privilege knowing Zane, even if only for a short time. In honour of Zane, and his parents Kye and Nicole, the facts must be laid bare so that the right steps can be taken in the future for such a tragedy to never happen again. Rest in peace Zane, your life will not be in vain.

A beautiful service for a wonderful little boy where love shone through the tears and sadness. Kye and Nicole were dignified and serene and showed incredible strength to continue to honour their supersonic son. We now unite with them to do all we can to support getting the Truth About Zane. We'll wear our orange poppies to highlight that the authorities are yet to inform the family and the community about how Hydrogen Cyanide, a rare and lethal ground gas came to be found in their home during the terrible floods that took place in Chertsey. We are shocked at the lack of information and the continued trauma and toll it takes on both Kye and Nicole at this most difficult and heartbreaking time.
Rest in peace little man and may the truth eventually bring some peace to your wonderful parents.

It was with a heavy heart but also a great honour to carry Zane to his resting place. Having lived through this experience first hand from the early hours of that tragic morning until Zane was laid to rest. With this in mind, Now is the time for those who know the truth to step up and be honest and factual with us all and most of all to Kye and Nicole.
This is not some campiagn which will blow over, This is a campaign for TAZ Truth about Zane. Please seek the truth!!!!

Such a terrible loss, rest in peace little Zane. The Truth about Zane needs to be told, a child has lost his life by being exposed to hydrogen cyanide in his own home. His parents, family, friends and general public deserve answers. If there is NOTHING to hide then why has the family home been quarantined and Zane's grieving mum been forced to sleep on the hospital floor next to her still very ill husband for the past ten weeks. This deadly gas has come from somewhere, the authorities need to admit it's presence, investigate its source, prosecute the perpetrator before another child loses their life. Zane's life is one loss too many. RiP x

Yesterday I attended an emotional and memorable funeral service of a much loved and talented little boy Zane.
10 weeks have passed since that tragic night. I along with Zane's family and countless friends have waited for news to dispel speculation and confirm the facts by doing the right thing," telling the truth". Unfortunately, some agencies we trusted refuse to acknowledge the Hydrogen Cyanide found on that night, not only in Kye and Nicole's home but also in their blood.
I care passionately about justice and fairness by being transparently open and honest. Things don't have to seem correct they absolutely have to be correct.
Yesterday we stood united in grief, today we stand united in finding the truth about Zane.
Joanna Fernandes 9:35 PM on 20/4/2014
A beautiful service for a beautiful boy with a caring, loving, giving, warm and wonderful family that we have the privilege of calling our friends. The strength that Kye and Nicole have shown is a testament to their love and dedication to Zane. Not only have this wonderful family lost their gorgeous boy but they have also been denied the truth about his death. We will stand with you Kye and Nicole in your pursuance of THE TRUTH FOR ZANE.
Rosie Gamlen 9:04 PM on 20/4/2014
Yesterday was a very beautiful, yet tragically sad memorial for a vibrant, lively and happy little boy who should still be amongst us. The tributes paid to him were tribute to what a special child he was. Zane's parents, Kye and Nicole, deserve to know the truth as to what happened to their son, and how hydrogen cyanide came to be in their home and take the life of their little boy. The public also need to know to prevent the same thing happening to another family. Echoing the comment below, it is in everyone's best interests to get the Truth About Zane known. Rest in peace Zane, we will make sure the truth is uncovered.

What a beautiful, emotional service and tribute to the too short life of Zane. Nicole and Kye were so dignified in their loss. They, like any parent, deserve to know the truth about the cause of the death of their son. The wider public also deserve the open truth about how hydrogen cyanide could be found in their neighbourhood. It is time for honesty and action to prevent such a tragedy happening again. It is in everyone's interest to get the Truth about Zane.
We will all support Nicole and Kye in their ongoing fight for answers, and just wish for their sake as they cope with an unbearable loss, that it didn't have to be a fight!
Liz Gamlen 8:00 PM on 20/4/2014
Our friend Zane- he is being missed terribly
Within the beautiful tribute paid to Zane by his parents we hear the words 'hydrogen cyanide', just as the fire brigade reported on the 8th February. The community and the nation will come to understand the significance of this- its a public health crisis which will bring further tragedy if not properly acknowledged and dealt with.
We will stand with Kye and Nicole as we wait for the truth about Zane.

My sister and I loved and enjoyed witnessing out littlest cousin Zane growing up into the loveliest boy. Zane brought light to everyone that met him and he has left a hole in our family. His funeral was beautiful and I am so proud of my Uncle Kye and Nicole for putting together such a honest and befitting tribute. The authorities can not get away with such gross misconduct, in my opinion. We need to take this 'Truth About Zane' campaign viral to give my Uncle and Nicole the answers they deserve. A healthy boy does not just die like that and a healthy man can not be wheelchair bound without a extensive and open investigation. This is a matter of public interest. Rest in piece little man xx

TRUTH ABOUT ZANE
Yesterday's service was beautiful, a celebration of the life of Zane, a very special gifted boy. As neighbours, it was a real privilege knowing Zane, he was a very lucky boy to have such wonderful parents in Kye and Nicole. There is no doubt that Kye and Nicole have a very tough journey ahead of them, hopefully made a little easier with the love of their friends, family and neighbours. THE TRUTH ABOUT ZANE's death must be revealed, not only for Kye and Nicole, but to ensure that this tragedy can never happen again. As neighbours and people that were very much involved in the flooding we know that Carbon Monoxide was not the cause of Zane's death.
Hydrogen Cyanide has been found in their blood, how can this be explained? And why is more not being done to investigate these findings? The various authorities and agency departments involved in this tragic event owe it to Kye and Nicole, and of course to Zane, to discover and make public the truth. I have no doubt that through Kye and Nicole's sheer determination the TRUTH ABOUT ZANE will be revealed, and those in authority should not underestimate the ability of Zane's parents to achieve this.

In response to Charlie's post below, the one that was taken down was nothing to do with what happened to poor Zane, it was someone telling us all how they could apparently make a lot of dollars from sitting at the PC all day.
Thanks to the moderators for removing it, and allowing the posts that are seeking the truth to be shared
Charlie Pinner 11:33 AM on 20/4/2014
Isn't it about time you (The Press) started looking into the truth? Instead of reporting the lies the government agencies told you. Isn't it worrying that this poor family have to continue to suffer the sad loss of little Zane without the real truth being found? There is plenty of evidence to prove that this was caused by hydrogen cyanide and the Government Agents continue to cover this up because they are worried it might scare people! Don't you feel that it's your job (The Press) to tell the truth for once! Be brave and do some real journalism, do you want to be reporting more cases like this in the future? Or do you want to be reporting that you (The Press) have done the right thing and exposed the Government Agencies for what they really are. Again be brave and don't remove this post like the other above! It's time to act now to find the truth......
Lydia Gamlen 10:12 AM on 20/4/2014
A lovely service to celebrate the life of a much-loved and missed little boy. I will continue to keep Zane's parents in my thoughts every day and pray that justice prevails and that they, along with Zane's family and friends, get the "Truth About Zane", and answers as to how Hydrogen Cyanide got into their home and blood. Rest in peace Zane x

There is talk of a shocking coverup as agencies show themselves as disinterested in finding the truth. To not speculate is to not think about what is a clear, present and growing danger to the public! Together let's get the Truth About Zane
Kelly Mills 6:57 AM on 20/4/2014
Within the many beautiful tributes to Zane was wide community support for Truth About Zane, to find the truth behind the Hydrogen Cyanide found in Zane's home the night he died. It is shocking to think a child can go to bed happy, be harmed in the night and not wake up. As the countries climate changes, ground gases like Hydrogen Cyanide can get into homes and cause devastating harm.
Catherine Batt 8:33 PM on 19/4/2014
This was a very lovely service to celebrate Zane's short life. I really hope answers are given to his brave parents on why and how Hydrogen Cyanide was found in their blood leading to Zane's death and Kye's health problems.
I hope they can find peace soon

The service to celebrate little Zane's life was emotional and touching. Zane, Nicole and Kye will be in my family's hearts, thoughts and prayers and we will support them in finding out the truth about what happened to beautiful Zane. Zane's parents, family and friends need to know exactly how Hydrogen Cyanide was in the family home and in their blood. The government agencies need to reveal the truth of how the flood water in their family home contained such a lethal substance. We need to fight for the TRUTH ABOUT ZANE.
Claire Cookson Nee Cullen 7:49 PM on 19/4/2014
Today was a true celebration of a wonderful boy, who's life was tragically taken too early. We must now all support this family so that the truth about what caused the sudden death of a healthy boy can be bought out into the open. We need to make sure that everything is done to ensure that no other family has to face a loss of this kind.
Nicole and Kye are honest, hardworking, caring people who deserve to get honest answers to their questions. They have always done what they can to support other people, we must ensure that they receive every possible support now.
Laurence Gamlen 7:22 PM on 19/4/2014
It was a sad privilege to lead the service for Zane today. It was so good to know the support of the local community who remember Zane and miss him terribly.
Ella Oates 11:44 AM on 19/4/2014
It was a beautiful and emotional service for a wonderful young man. Zane will forever be in our hearts and we will not stop until we get the truth about Zane's death. Hydrogen Cyanide was found in the family home, in the family's blood and on the fire service people that rescued them. However, it would seem the very people and government agencies that are here to protect us are consistently hiding or trying to cover up the truth. All we want are the answers as to how the flood water in their home contained Hydrogen Cyanide and get justice for the loss of such a special life.
Mandy Knight 8:11 AM on 19/4/2014
